Alberto Gonzalez has been recognized as one of the most dynamic dancers in Vancouver.
His own dance school, Hot Salsa Dance Zone, has a name where he puts smiles on hundreds of people faces teaching them Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, and Cha-Cha-Cha, together with his dance partner, Teresa Szefler. They performances bring spice, fun and connection to audience.

First Dominican dance group in Vancouver, created by Martha Rodriguez and her team, from the Dominican Republic, with the idea of bringing more music and entertainment from their country.
Merengue is their traditional dance, as well as Bachata. Their goal is not only to teach people how to dance their music, but also share their culture, values and traditions with other communities.

Axe Tropical is a Vancouver based World Beat Dance Company founded and directed by Lisa Isabel Kerr, Jennifer Pummell, and Yadira Mila.
Drawing influence from their varied backgrounds in Brazilian samba, ballet, belly dance, contemporary, salsa and more, these girls bring a fiery presence and a powerful femininity to each of their dance performances.
With beautiful costumes and captivating choreography these ladies are a fresh and fabulous addition to the Vancouver dance community.
In 2009, the dance group Salsa Kapow was formed. This ever changing and dynamic Salsa Team has performed locally in and around Vancouver. The performers are enthusiastic social dancers, and are excited to demonstrate their latest routine.
